Daniela Groza, aged 25, originally from Romania embarked on an inspiring journey into the world of jewellery. Sparked by a youthful passion cultivated during summers in San Diego visiting her aunt and uncle: from crafting duct tape wallets and friendship bracelets at camp in the USA, she nurtured a love for jewellery making and design since the age of 13. Despite her youth, she persevered in honing her craft. As a teenager, she created jewellery daily after class, capturing the hearts of customers through Facebook sales.

Fueled by unwavering dedication, she embarked on a transformative journey, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Jewellery & Silversmithing at the prestigious University of Edinburgh. In 2019, her thirst for knowledge led her to the enchanting shores of Osaka, Japan, where she embraced an extraordinary opportunity as an exchange student at the esteemed Hiko Mizuno College of Jewellery.

During this immersive experience, Daniela not only broadened her horizons but also shared her creations, exhibiting them at the culmination of the program. Japan's rich artistic heritage provided her with a boundless wellspring of inspiration, unveiling new dimensions in materials, techniques, and aesthetics that continue to infuse her works with a captivating essence. Her journey embodies a perpetual exploration of the ever-evolving world of jewelry, where the fusion of cultures and ideas propels her artistry to thrilling new heights.
In the realm of academia, Daniela's achievements encompass not only a coveted Masters in Design Informatics from the venerable University of Edinburgh but also the highly esteemed GIA Graduate Gemologist Qualification, a distinction she acquired through a hard-earned scholarship.
With her astute grasp of Design Informatics, Daniela ventured into uncharted territory, conceiving an avant-garde Augmented Reality project that dares to reimagine the future of retail. Her vision fuses the realms of gaming and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to revolutionize the promotion of jewellery collections.

Moreover, Daniela's pursuit of the GIA Graduate Gemologist Qualification has fortified her comprehension of the intricate tapestry of gemstones. It has enabled her to navigate the labyrinth of divergent gemstone qualities whilst diving into laboratory-based gemstone testing, identification methodologies, and the intricate nuances of gem sourcing. This knowledge equips her with more experience, facilitating a deeper connection with the very essence of her craft and the materials she adorns with her artistry.
